🍎 Apoyo alimenticio y despensas comunitarias en Minneapolis y área metropolitana

Frente a la crisis que enfrentan muchas familias en Minneapolis y ciudades vecinas, organizaciones comunitarias, iglesias y bancos de alimentos han reforzado o activado programas de apoyo alimenticio, despensas familiares y distribución de comida culturalmente adecuada.

Estas iniciativas ofrecen alimentos gratuitos, despensas, entregas móviles y apoyo complementario, priorizando a comunidades migrantes, familias con niños, personas mayores y hogares afectados por la violencia reciente.

  • We are a non profit bridging the trust gap and are actively collecting and distributing food aid to the affected community. We intend to look for ways to further support the community by providing rent/bill assistance, ride to/from work, and long term support.

  • Sanneh has shifted the majority of our food distributions to fast, easy box distributions of staples and culturally-specific foods.

  • Our on-site food pantry, mobile pantries, and express pack services are open to anyone in Minnesota. We are also providing food deliveries to folks in south Minneapolis, Richfield, Bloomington, and Edina. Additionally, we help with rent and utilities.

  • Combining strengths to connect culturally relevant foods with Latino families in St. Paul, while helping to support a local Latino-owned business.
  • They are asking individuals to purchase gift cards. Purchasers should list “giftcards@neighborhoodhousemn.org” as the recipient email.

  • Launching an effort to provide an additional 20,000 food bags to support children and families in our community.

• Bethel Church Food Pantry: All items purchased from this list will be put into our Little Free Pantry.
• TC Food Justice: Donate food: We partner with grocers, co-ops, bakeries, farmers, orchards, and farmers markets in the Twin Cities to take extra or unsalable food and deliver it directly to hunger relief locations.

• The Food Group is rapidly responding to distribute food and ensure fear is not a barrier for communities to access food.
